The theme of this year's conference IC13 is about 'The Infographic Experience', where we presents the full range of information design: from paper to tablet, from book to blockbuster and from virtual to reality.
The conference is moderated by Jan. F. Bonjer, managing editor Het Financieele Dagblad.

Venue


Het design hotel/theater Figi is located in the historic center of Zeist and is easily accessible by public transport (bus line 50, which runs between the Utrecht Central train stations and Driebergen-Zeist, stops a cross the street). The parking garage next to Figi offers enough space (daily ticket € 8). Free parking is available behind Het Slot Zeist (at walking distance from Figi).




Exhibition


In het Atrium van Hotel Theater Figi zullen twee exposities te bewonderen zijn:
  • Een unieke collectie van infographics uit de jaren '30 - beheerd door Professor Michael Stoll
  • Een Portfolio expositie waarvoor iedereen wordt uitgenodigd om werk in te zenden.


Portfolio Exhibition


De tweede expositie in het Atrium van Figi zal een overzicht geven van wat er sinds 1 januari 2012 is gemaakt op infographics gebied. Dat mag jouw beste infographic zijn, of gewoon je opvallendste of meest spraakmakende productie. Als jij er maar iets bijzonders bij kunt vermelden.

Specs

  • VIDEO: MP4-file, resolutie 1024 x 768/576 of 1280 x 720 pixels (maak in geval van een Flash-graphic gebruik van een video-grabber waarin je de mogelijkheden van je Flash-applicatie toont. Download deze still om in Photoshop van de juiste informatie (waaronder je logo) te voorzien. Deze bumper zal voorafgaand aan je video gedurende 5 seconden vertoond worden.
  • PRINT: Gebruik bijgaand InDesign CS4-template.
Mail uiterlijk vrijdag 8 februari (via bijvoorbeeld YouSendit) naar organisatie IC13.

Mocht je bij hoge uitzondering geen portfolio willen samenstellen maar gewoon een los document willen sturen; benoem de bestanden in dat geval als volgt:
KR_00x_TREFWOORD.***

Hierbij zijn de eerste twee letters jouw initialen, de x een opeenvolgend nummer (mocht je meerdere bestanden insturen) en *** de extensie van het bestandstype.
